Petition to Expungement

You have the right to have your conviction or arrest removed from your criminal record after a certain number of years, as required by K.S.A. 12-4516. Please file a completed Petition for Expungement Form and required filing fee to the Gardner Municipal Court.

The filing fee for a single case is $100. If multiple motions for expungement are filed for the same defendant in different cases, the filing fee will be $100 for each case. A separate Petition for Expungement must be filed for each case.

Your case(s) will not be scheduled for an expungement hearing until the petition has been filed and the fee paid. You MUST bring the completed petition and filing fee in person to the Gardner Municipal Court to be filed.
