Appointments to Boards & Commissions

The appointments for the Boards and Commissions are governed by the Governing Body Rules of Procedure.  Applicants are interviewed by a team consisting of the Mayor and two Councilmembers. Once unanimous consent for a recommendation has been reached, nominees are considered for appointment by the City Council at the next regular City Council meeting. To apply for any Board or Commission, visit Board and Commission Appointments.  Applications remain on file for consideration in the City Clerk's office for one year unless the applicant is appointed to a Board of Commission or a written request for removal from consideration from the applicant is received by the City Clerk's office.
