The Planning and Zoning Division, a section of our Community Development administers zoning and the development review processes for the city, and provides staff support to the Planning Commission and the Board of Zoning Appeals. The planning staff, along with other affected departments and divisions, works to process and review development applications for rezoning, site plans, development plans, the platting process, sign regulations, and conditional use permits. The department is also responsible for the administration and updating of the City of Gardner Comprehensive Plan.
