Come celebrate Earth Day with Gardner Parks and Recreation! EARTHDAY.ORG, the organizing body for Earth Day worldwide, has announced the theme for 2024. “Our theme, Planet vs. Plastics, calls to advocate for widespread awareness of the health risks of plastics, rapidly phase out all single-use plastics, urgently push for a strong UN Treaty on Plastic Pollution, and demand an end to fast fashion. We invite families, organizations, church groups, and individuals of all ages to participate in this important event. After the group cleanup, Gardner Parks and Recreation welcomes you to join us for a free hot dog lunch at Winwood Park.
