The City of Gardner has issued a Water Watch for all water customers, effective immediately. Due to the lack of rain and higher than average rate of water usage, the City of Gardner has experienced increased demand and strain on its water system.

2020 City of Gardner Fireworks Discharge Dates & Safety Guidelines
Many Gardner residents will choose to celebrate Independence Day with legal fireworks within our city limits. The sale or distribution of fireworks is permitted between June 28 and July 4. They can be discharged from July 3 through July 5 from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

During last night’s special meeting held by the Gardner City Council, councilmembers voted to eliminate the electric charges that were billed in March for residential customers and credit commercial customers for the use of their first 5000 KW/h of electricity.
