At Gardner Parks and Recreation, we provide more than a hundred ways for you to be active no matter the season.  Whether you're looking for an athletic program, an instructional class, or just having fun with friends and family at one of our special events or parks, the Gardner Parks and Recreation Department offers a wide variety of activities to entertain, educate, and exercise the minds and bodies of all ages.

Summer Splash

Summer is almost officially here! If you haven’t had a chance to visit the Gardner Aquatic Center this season, today is the day!  Join us for some live music from the band Run with It and back again this summer is the KC Seasprites Synchronized Swim Team!  We will be serving free hot dogs while supplies last between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm.  The day will also include some cool giveaways. Join us as we celebrate another fun summer!
