At Gardner Parks and Recreation, we provide more than a hundred ways for you to be active no matter the season.  Whether you're looking for an athletic program, an instructional class, or just having fun with friends and family at one of our special events or parks, the Gardner Parks and Recreation Department offers a wide variety of activities to entertain, educate, and exercise the minds and bodies of all ages.

Elementary Art Experiences

Gardner Parks and Recreation is excited to present the Gardner Arts and Rec program which will be all about the arts. Each class has a minimum of 5 participants and a maximum of 15. View the different art classes offered this season below! 

Elementary Art Experiences - Elementary School
Hands on art experiences for Kindergarten-5th grade. All abilities welcome. Children will learn about a specific art technique and practice the technique in class, at their own pace. (Min.: 5/ Max: 15)

Dates Tuesday, January 23: Meet the Impressionists- Watercolor Techniques
Tuesday, February 27: Post Impressionism and Landscape- Foil Painting
Tuesday, March 27: De Stij: Resist- Abstract Painting
Time 6:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m.
Fee $20/class; Receive $5 off one class when you sign up for two or more art classes.
Age K - 5th grade
