Fishing is an American tradition that has much to offer young children. Not only does fishing give children the thrill and satisfaction of catching a fish, but more importantly, fishing gives youngsters the chance to experience the outdoors and to spend time with their family and friends. This event is co-sponsored by the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks and Cops N' Bobbers. Worms and fishing poles will be provided, however you are encouraged to bring your own pole if you have one. Prizes will be given along with a barbeque lunch and goodie bags to the kids.
