  • Introduction: Not only walk but read around Celebration Park at this very fun event for kids and families presented by the Johnson County Library and GPRD!

Johnson County Library and Gardner Parks and Recreation would like to invite you to join us for The Walk and Read Weekend Event at Celebration Park, Saturday, June 4th through Sunday, June 5th. The Stories, One Busy Day: A Story for Big Brothers and Sisters by Lola M. Schaefer, illustrated Jessica Meserve and Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type by Doreen Cronin, illustrated Betsy Lewin will be posted for kids of all ages to enjoy while taking a stroll around the lake. We will be kicking off the event on Saturday, at 10:00 a.m. The stories will remain around the lake until Sunday at 6:00 p.m.

Date:  Saturday, June 4-5
Time:  Kick-off event is at 10:00 a.m. on June 4th and will go until Sunday, June 5th at 6:00 p.m.
Fee:  Free!
Sign-ups are not required for this event.  Just come on out to the park and join us for some fun reads!
