CONSENT AGENDA

All matters listed within the Consent Agenda have been distributed to each member of the Planning Commission for study. These items are considered to be routine and will be enacted upon by one motion with no separate discussion.  If separate discussion is desired on an item, from either the Planning Commission or from the floor, that item may be removed from the Consent Agenda and placed on the Regular Agenda.

1. Standing approval of the minutes as written for the meeting on March 27, 2012. 

2. FP-12-01 QuikTrip Store No. 249

Consider a final plat for QuikTrip Store No. 249, a 1.95-acre commercial development located on the north side of Main Street, ¼ mile west of Moonlight Road. The application is filed by QuikTrip Corporation, with engineering services provided by Lutjen, Inc.

3. SP-12-03  Gardner Family Care Addition

Consider a site plan for Gardner Family Care Addition, an addition and alteration to an existing clinic located at 18320 Center Street. The application is filed by Olathe Medical Services Inc., with engineering services provided by Payne & Brockway, P.A.

NEW BUSINESS

1. Amendments to Chapter 18.170 (Signs)

Conduct a Public Hearing to consider an amendment to Chapter 18.170 (Signs) of Title 18 (Zoning Regulations) for the purpose of amending the sign regulations in entirety.

2. SUP-12-01 (formerly CUP-12-02) Cell Tower – Gardner Road

Conduct a Public Hearing to consider a Special Use Permit for continued use of an existing cell tower in a C-2 (General Business District) zoning district, located immediately east of 18865 Gardner Road.  The application is filed by Crown Castle International Corp. on behalf of Global Signal Acquisitions II, LLC.

3. Amendments to Chapter 18.165 (Landscaping)

Conduct a Public Hearing to consider an amendment to Chapter 18.165 (Landscaping) of Title 18 (Zoning Regulations) for the purpose of amending landscaping regulations and adding landscape design standards.
