City Clerk (Administration) - Salary Range: $18.79 - $26.26/hr. - (Benefits Included) - To be responsible for all aspects of the Kansas Open Records Act (KORA), Kansas Open Meetings Act (KOMA), Records Management, Code Book accuracy, agenda preparation and maintenance of all official documents for the City. Associates Degree preferred, but will consider High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years administrative and/or records and file management experience. Municipal Clerk Certification or the ability to obtain certification, or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Hours: M-F; 8-5, with minimum 2 evenings per month for City Council meetings. Application Deadline: June 21, 2013.
Meter Reader/Technician - (Finance) - Salary Range: $13.58 - $19.10/hr - (Benefits Included) - Will perform semi-skilled manual and semi-technical work involving the installation, maintenance, and reading of water and electric meters used by residential and commercial customers requiring physical labor and the use of hand tools and small powered equipment. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, testing, repairing, disconnecting, and reading utility meters, and assisting with customer requests and complaints. Requires High School diploma or GED and possession of a valid driver’s license. Hours: M-F; 8-5, with evenings as required. Application Deadline: June 21, 2013.
